I have over a decade of experience in the field of mental health. In addition to my work with couples and individuals, I wrote my first book, "Becoming a Knew You "which speaks about how our childhood experiences may show up in our relationships today. It has journal prompts for mental health, self-growth, self love and more. Best journal for journaling.

Kiara was an absolute delight and joy to work with. She was amazing and had the audience engaged during her entire presentation. Her presentation on “The Power of Setting Boundaries” was incredible, insightful and definitely a call to action. Kiara’s professionalism and knowledgeable insight was impeccable.

I had the privilege to work with Kiara Luna for several years. I could always count on Kiara to bring the child and family voice to the table in the midst of challenging discussions. Kiara also delivered my evidence based model, Family Connections, trainings effectively and in a manner in which Case Planners were able to understand and put into practice.

Butterflies With Voices, Inc (BWV) had the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by Kiara during our annual Embracing Me Workshop. The Embracing Me Workshop aims to motivate upcoming and newly established entrepreneurs by providing insight into the skills and techniques that are needed to become successful. Kiara's wisdom during her speech did just that. She did it through a positive and uplifting lens and was able to relate to the audience and keep everyone engaged. BWV appreciates Kiara's passion, dedication, and advice that brought us ladies closer to our dreams.

With great professionalism and easy to consume language, Kiara Luna brought valuable information to the We Still Like Each Other podcast. She was able to talk us about how generational and cultural specific trauma manifest itself in romantic relationships. She was extremely easy to talk to making it super comfortable for us to ask personal questions about our parenting styles. Our listeners found great value in all that Kiara Luna was able to share with us

I don't normally read books but I was going through something that I was so overwhelmed about. I didn't know how to pin point what I was feeling or how to address it. I started looking for answer anywhere and everywhere and this book caught me attention in the search. It was sooooo relatable. I found myself agreeing with so many of it and pin pointing parts of the book that were currently happening in my life. I want to say it opened my eyes to something I had never thought of. It allowed me to acknowledge how I felt and try to make slow changes until I felt comfortable to make the decision necessary for my progress and search for actual happiness. I 10000000% recommend this book to everyone because it definitely opens a new world in all levels of life.
Kiara Luna showed that she has unlimited energy for helping others. This book is a great collection of strategies written in a way that I suspect mental health is not often done. This book really aims to help you and work honestly until your goals are reached. Early on in the book she states that the book doesn't replace speaking with a professional, but on some dimension it might since she is sharing deep knowledge in an unpretentious way. To me this is a self help classic in 2022. I suggest you to give the book a try and see what you think for yourself.
This book is one that most people could probably relate to. Makes you really think! I would be sharing it with my friends and kids! Becoming A Knew You: A guide to learning how your past can inform your present is such a powerful self help tool in understanding how your present self was influenced by your childhood relationships and experiences. I love how this author provides real life scenarios to emphasize points to help the reader relate to the specific issue or trauma. It will definitely help the most closed minded reader to relate more to the issue at hand and connect more on how to start making progress in those areas. While reading I not only thought about my experiences, but it helped me keep an open mind about the experiences of my husband and how that has impacted him and even how I interact with my kids. I truly love this book!
I can identify with so many parts of this book. Many times our own insecurities and even childhood can get the best of us individually and, in relationships. This is a great read, my partner and I are rebuilding our relationship. This book has helped me not only understand our relationship and myself but how our upbringing affects how we may behavior.
